here is a short video memoir on Bon Jovi. It was harder than i thought it would be to find this video. Every time I searched memoirs, memoirs of geisha popped up every time.

Is anyone in Ms. Petersons class who watched the movie about the lost boys from africa?
This book sounds like it relates to that movie. They are both about african children and extreme wars that most of the world is not awear of.

I came across "Riding in Cars with Boys: Confessions of a Bad Girl Who Makes Good". The title its self grabbed me, but the description made me wanna pick the book up that moment. I found the trailer of the books's movie pn youtube.

Lol!! Ok!! First of all I have to say the You Tube video that dig_or_die_awestvball10 sent in about the "Riding in Cars with Boy's" is so funny!! I really liked that link! Lol!! And I also agree with this student, the movie about lost boys from Africa ("God Gave up on us"), are similar because the book that Ishmael Beah wrote and the movie are kind of alike. They're in the same category. The book sounds interesting. I've never heard of Sierra Leone. Ishmael's life story sounds sad! Having his family die at the age the age of 12-13 must be very hard. I could never live through that!

The description of this book reminds me a lot about "The Lost Boys"video we watched in Ms. Petersons Geography class. Like the lost boys Ishmael Beah was forced to leave for protection but he ended up wrapped up in all of it.
