I thought the video was extremely sad. Its hard to think that people could be so cruel to kill so many people! Its crazy to think it didnt phase them at all! I thought maybe people were born with atleast some sense of sympathy, but these people didnt seem to care at all!!!
In this case I'm guessing maybe hitler wanted to only have people of his religeon still exsisting, which Ive heard has happened alot with different cultures. It makes sense considering man kind is constantly fighting over power. In this situation this is an event where power has been put to a very bad cause.
1. The images I saw were pretty disturbed, yet very interesting. I don't like thinking about the terror and torture that these innocent people went through. I felt very sad. I felt like not looking at some of the pictures. I felt angry that people were put through these harsh conditions just because of their religion. These people were put through things that nobody should be put through. They were treated like animals. Actually, they were treated worse than animals. It makes me feel sick looking at these pictures.
2. I think the Nazi's enacted in such a way against humanity to make themselves feel tough. I think They did such horrible things to try to scare other countries. I think they did such things out of pure hatred and jealousy. They wanted to be better than everyone. What better way is there to be better than another kind of people than killing them off. Their actions were definitely not necessary.

1. After seeing this video it reminds me of how much people were killed, torchured, and mistreated. The images I saw were very disturbing and extremely depressing. Yet this video doesn't even cover an eighth of what really happened during the time of the Holocaust.
2. Adolf Hitler was a man who wanted as much power as he could get his hands on. In this case he only wanted his vision of a "perfect race" to be on this world. In most cases power is used for bad causes and this is no exception. The Holocause was a time of fear, terror, torchure, and murder. Their action were unesesary, immoral, and unhuman. No man, women, or child should ever go threw this pr even be a part of this.
The images that I saw were a lot like the ones in the movie we saw Friday. It was hard to see all those people die and suffer. It made me realize how hard and unfair things were back then. And it showed me how lucky we are today to not have 1,000 of people being killed every day, just for their race.
I think the Nazi's enacted these terrible deaths to humanity because, like what Aaron said, they did such things just out of pure hatred and jealousy. I also think they wanted to be rulers and be the boss of everyone so they used their false power and killed all the people that weren't the same as them.

1.Before this unit I didn't know much about the holocaust, but after seeing these images I kind of know what these people went through. We will never know exactly how these people felt and thought when they were thrown into these fires and gas tanks. From these images though we can get an idea because of the horrified expressions on these peoples faces in huge holes and in wheel barrows being thrown into the holes. This makes me wonder how these people can throw other people just like them into fires and just be so careless. It makes me sad to know that there are people in the world like that.
2. I think that the Nazi's enacted these crimes because they thought that this would make them seem powerful and make people be scared of them but really they only ended up with the whole world hating them. I just want to know why out of all the people in the world they chose to kill the Jewish. They might have gotten power out of it but all they ended up with is a load of people hating them. thats what I think their motives are.

The images i saw made me realize how truly horrible this time in history was for these people. It makes me sick to know another person could do such things to such innocent people, just because of their beliefs. These pictures may be sad, but i think that we do need to see them to be sure that this never repeats it's itself in our future.
I think the nazis did this reasons that we may never truly understand. The only reason i can think of is hate. They really hated these people for absolutely no reason at all. They wanted power and they let all morals and humanity they ever had leave. Somehow all there feelings and emotions didn't exist for these people. I guess to them these people were inhuman and they thought they were right to try to destory there beliefs.

When saw this I felt horrible. I felt how they would have felt. I think how must have just wanted to die. How much they would they would want to fall asleep and just not wake up the next day. How much they would just want to die peacefully. To not get burned alive, or gassed to death. I think that if I was in the time in a camp, that I would feel abandoned by God. Since they where Jewish, they would feel that they must have done something so tremendously bad that God would let something like this happen. I think that some of the Jewish people would not think that God was so good. I think that they would question their religion. These picks show how badly they Jewish people where treated. I feel the question arise in my mind. How could people do something so horrible.
I think that the reason the Nazis did this is because of Hitler. He brain washed Germany to a point that the Germens thought that all their problems where due to the Jewish people the Nazis though that if the Jewish people and way of life was eliminated, that all their problems would be gone. They must have been so desperate.

The images that were on that movie were really strong. It was really sad and really inhuman as Wiesel said. How I feel about those images? I feel angry and power less. I feel angry because a *!#$!% guy that wants to destroy cultures from people that didn’t do anything bad as he is or they are the Nazis were the ones that had to die not innocent kids, women and men. I feel power less because I can do anything about it.
In my opinion I think that the Nazis enacted these crimes against humanity because they wanted to destroy cultures because they never had a culture and didn’t want others to have it.

I thought it was very sad. After seeing the video i thought of really sadness of all of it.The images were really disturbing and sick and wrong. It was so crazy that nazis were that insane to kill over millions of people for no reason at all. Most of it i thought was they should have sences to tell whats right and whats wrong but i guess they weren't even born to tell whats the difference of it.
They were really disturbing. That was very wrong what they did to those people. What did those people ever to them to make this happen. Adolf Hitler was the evilist person I myself have ever heard about. He was a sick man. They were racist very disturbing people. What did these people do to them. They were racist they did not like Jews. They didn't like them because of their religion. Everyone belives in their own things.
My feelings about the images I saw is shock, like in class when we watched that Holocaust video. I didn't think something so horrible, so inhuman could happen to all those people. An act by man against man. Brother to brother. Hand to hand. And even worse, imagining actually being there, living through all of that. Even the Germans who comitted the deaths of the Jews must have felt overwelming guilt for the rest of their lives. No matter how much they believed that what they were doing was right, no matter how much Hitler brain washed them (like what lil luke said), how deep their religion was in their soul, or how scared they were; the faces burning, starving, dying, must have affected them. At least just one little child's face, his or her eye's tearing up, sorrow painted on their face, wondering, "why, why me, what have I done to deserve this?" The answer is nothing. The Germans had no right to kill so many innocent people. It was an act so brutle that people just chose not to believe it,chose not to listen, chose not to help. But we must not forget, we must remember the terrible tragedy of the Holocaust and prevent anything like it from happening again. No one has the power of god to destroy lives.

In one picture it's all scraps of something laying all over the ground, it's black and white so I can't really tell what it is, until I looked in the corner of the photograph and saw ribs. How i feelt about the pics was grossed out kinda but at the same time i felt horable for wut the pepole in the holocaust had to go through because it was just plain rong what they made those pepole go through
2 I think that the naizs at first saw that it was rong but then it gave them a pice of power and made them feel sucure about them self and this Eivl guy hittler just keep telling them that if they whint trouugh with it they would be wealthy for as long as they lived
The video was painful to watch and the images were crazy. Most of those people are probably dead and it was really depressing. These pictures hopefully will only be from that period and history won't repeat itself.
I think the Nazi's did these crimes against humanity because they didn't see the people they hurt as people. I don't think any human being could do this to another without feeling anything.

It is difficult to believe what actually happened and it is hard to fully understand what happened and i dont think anyone will understand it unless they lived it and to everyone else it is unimaginable. I cant believe how people can be controlled and believe in something so stupid that theywould not have any remorse of what they are doing.
I think that they did this becuse they believed very strongly in it and it drove them completely insane and made them fell good to be so strong and so powerful.
The images that i saw were UNBARABLE! I felt sad. Trying to place myself in there shoes, that is just something that i cant even do. I feel tons of emotions when i see those images. My grandfather was in the war for a cuple years and HE cant even explain what he felt.
I think the Nazis comited these crimes to pleese Hitler. If they didnt do it then they would die. that is my guess. I dont see why ANYONE would want to even think about doing somthing like this.
i mean, me that im here at home and wasnt even born yet at the time of all that, i cant even imagaine wat all those people felt getting taken away from there families and there home. Never knowing if you are going to come back or not. And taking all you're valuables and precious belongings only to get them taken away and NEVER seeing them again!!!

This video was really hard to watch. The images were very eye opening. Befor we started studying the Holocaust i had no idea how crule people could be. Seeing all of the belongings that people lost makes me realize how fortunite i really am.
I dont quite understand why the German's killed so many Jew's. I wish i could go back in time and ask Hitler why he discriminated aginst the jewish religion.
I watched some more of the videos on Youtube and some some actios that i wasn't ready to witness. If you cant handle violence very well don't watch this. If you can, it is a very wowing experience.

The images i saw in the video were sickening and very disturbing. I dont understand how one man (hitler) could be such an evil person. The way he had concentation camps and gas chambers to execute the jews. I couldnt imagine being in the nazi's shoes having to kill thousands of innocent people.
Im pretty sure but i could be wrong but by killing so many defensless people that has to have impacted at least a couple of the nazis lives and if it didnt then those people arent human and have no feelings.

1.The images i have viewed are really harrowing and kind of sickening, i cant believe that humans are responsible for such atrocities that you would think the devil conjured himself. hitler was stepping way out of line when he decided to massacre as many jews as he could. He even captured other coutnries and took their jews. it was pretty horrid how the nazis were mentally capable of doing such things like throwing babies into fiery pits and shooting defenseless people.
2.i think that hitler was astute when he was campaigning against the communist, and his beliefs of a nazi and what not he invented a excuse for all the recession that the germans was suffering from. and when hitler won, the gestapo came into role and terrorized the citizens into hating the jews, cause of concentration camps and what not.

i find this video very heart breaking. it is sad to see that people are so evil. i dont understand how anyone could have the soul to kill someone so alike to them just over religion. i find it disturbing how people are so psycotic that they let this happen.

I thought that movie was so sad and it made me mad because hitler killed over 6 million jews/people. I one of the pictures a whole family was boney and skinny. I think they only fed them bread and soup once a day. I dont get why these people had to die like this why couldnt they die another way and peaceful. I dont want to know how the babies died but they died by the ss soldiers throwing them through the air and shooting them as target practice.

It was hard to watch not cause it was sad but cause of the mutural colored photos but, i guess i didn't really feel bad for the grown-up's as much as i felt torn apart for the children i saw.

For power, also bacause they blamed the Jews for the bad things that happend to them and why they had no money, the Jews owned most of the shops in Germany so they would get more money then the German people would.
This video was very sad and disturbing. I don't see how someone could do anything like that and it makes me mad how the people aware of these acts of terror didn't even attempt to do anything about it. It is a fresh memory in our minds to make sure that nothing like this ever happens again.
